    Fortinet(R) -- the pioneer and leading provider of unified threat management (UTM) solutions

today announced that MASAN Group, a large and well-diversified homegrown success story in

Vietnam, has deployed Fortinet's suite of security solutions across its WAN infrastructure

supporting the food manufacturing business. To date, all the security functions that are offered

through Fortinet's network security appliances -- including firewall, antivirus, VPN, IPS, anti-

spam, Web content filtering and traffic shaping -- are being utilized to protect MASAN Group's

network. 


    According to Vo Anh Chuong, MASAN Group's network infrastructure manager, "Fortinet's

solution presents a cost-effective, high-performance security solution with the FortiGate's ability

to operate in intra- and inter-zones to achieve redundancy through IPSec VPN across the

company's WAN infrastructure." To further underscore the solution's value proposition, Vu

    Products deployed by MASAN Group include Fortinet's FortiGate(R)-800, FortiGate-60B and

FortiGate-100A network security appliances. In addition, the FortiManager(TM)-400A and

FortiAnalyzer(TM)-800B were deployed to provide management and analysis functions.
