Abigroup set to make the west wireless
Abigroup Telecommunications has secured a contract with vividwireless to construct
components of Perths new 4G wireless network.
The project will include the installation of antennas, cabinets and equipment, base
station testing and civil construction of base station sites.
Abigroup Telecommunications General Manager Tim Sheridan said, Abigroup is
delighted to win this new contract with vividwireless.
It gives us the opportunity to work with an exciting and innovative client in a city
which is a rapidly expanding market for the telecommunications industry as it is
currently under supplied by existing broadband infrastructure.
Abigroup employees will work on wireless sites across Perth to install antennas on
rooftops as well as install the cards, cabling, cabinets and equipment that process
the data signals enabling customers to access the internet wirelessly.
The project is scheduled to be completed in record time to launch the new network
in March, 2010.
