iPRIMUS Announces Father of All

Broadband Services

iPRIMUS, one of Australia’s leading broadband providers, today announced

Big Kahuna, a new high speed ADSL2+ service that includes 200 GB of data,

the largest data amount ever offered by an Australian broadband provider to

residential customers. Big Kahuna is targeted at users who want high speed,

top performance and huge downloads.

“iPRIMUS has a proud and distinguished history of leadership in broadband

services in Australia since we were the first company to offer high speed

broadband services in 1999. Introduction of Big Kahuna is yet another

milestone achievement for iPRIMUS and demonstrates our resolve to

maintain our leadership position through innovation, customer responsiveness

and high quality of service,” said Ravi Bhatia, CEO of Primus Australia. “With

Big Kahuna, we have continued the tradition of offering our customers best

value for money coupled with the highest quality of service.”

With people increasingly using data rich content sites like Facebook, My

Space and YouTube, as well as the educational content now available on the

web, iPRIMUS has recognised the need for a high data plan like Big Kahuna.

“Big Kahuna, with its 200 Gigs of data, is going to be ideal for those families

and individuals that find they are increasingly making use of the internet,” said

Mr Bhatia.  “This plan will be particularly attractive to those power users and

those families where Mum, Dad and the kids all want to do their thing on the

internet,” remarked Mr Bhatia.

Andrew Sims, iPRIMUS’ Marketing Manager commented, “A 200 Gig ADSL

2+ plan at only $79.95 per month on our state-of-the-art broadband network

makes Big Kahuna the best value in Australia today.”

iPRIMUS’ high speed broadband services are offered over 230 high speed

broadband nodes in combination with leading edge fibre-optic network links,

with several dozen more broadband nodes presently under construction

across the country.
