Vodafone introduces alternative to caps with new
Simplify and TalkBusiness plans
Sydney, Australia 4, October 2010: Today marks a new era in the Australian mobile market as Vodafone unveils a new
range of mobile plans for consumer and business customers that redefine simplicity and transparency of mobile plan
pricing in the market, providing Australian consumers with an alternative to Cap plans.
Vodafones Simplify and TalkBusiness plans are perfect for personal and business customers wanting a straightforward
mobile plan based on very simple rates. Both plans offer one flat rate for standard national calls and TXTs, with unlimited
free standard national voice calls to friends, family, and colleagues on the Vodafone network.
Anthony Dureau, General Manager of Consumer Markets at Vodafone said, Our customers want transparency on call
costs and that is what weve delivered today with our Vodafone Simplify and TalkBusiness plans. Today were
communicating the value, inclusions and exclusions in each plan in the simplest way possible. The new plans will help
customers and businesses keep track of their usage and stay in control of their bills.
Vodafone Simplify Plan (Prepaid)
Vodafone Simplify bases all charges on one simple low rate of 15 cents flagfall, and 15 cents a minute standard national
calls (charged per 60 seconds). Standard national and International TXT are 15 cents each.

The Vodafone Simplify prepaid plan also offers sensational value for mobile calls to family and friends overseas, 30 cents a
minute flat rate (charged per x seconds) to 20 countries, including the UK, USA, New Zealand, China, Japan, India, and
more.

Vodafone Simplify is available at $30 and $50 recharges, from October 5, 2010.
Vodafone TalkBusiness Plan
Vodafone has simplified communications costs for business with the launch of its TalkBusiness plans1, available on
standard and SIM-Only contracts.
Vodafone TalkBusiness come with minutes of talk time rather than a schedule of call rates to call colleagues, clients and
associates on the Vodafone network, giving customers greater clarity in their monthly usage.
Edward Goff, General Manager of Business Markets at Vodafone said, Vodafone has developed a new plan that
provides businesses with greater clarity and simplicity on call costs. The new Vodafone TalkBusiness plans are designed
with a streamlined pricing structure that offers business customers a simple low rate of 9 cents per 30 seconds for standard
national voice calls to mobiles and landlines (charged per 30 seconds). Flagfall has also been removed from all
TalkBusiness plans, ensuring greater transparency and significant savings for business customers.
Vodafone TalkBusiness and TalkBusiness SIM-Only plans are available at $40, $60, $80 and $100 price points1, and are
available now. Vodafone provides business customers with the choice of tailoring the TalkBusiness plan with all the
information.
