COCOON DATA SNARES AGREEMENT FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF SECURE

ENVELOPES INTO WESTERN VICTORIA BASED CLINICS

Sydney based Internet Company, Cocoon Data Holdings Ltd is pleased to announce that the Board of Wimmera

Health Care Group, in Western Victoria, has approved the implementation of Cocoon Data’s Secure Envelopes

software for General Practitioners in Western Victoria. This will effectively allow GPs in Western Victoria to receive

all medical information, relating to a patient's stay, via email within moments of the patient checking out of the

Wimmera Base Hospital, via the utilisation of Cocoon Data's 'Secure Envelopes' product.

In most hospitals, out-patient records are faxed or posted to GPs, due to privacy requirements. With Cocoon

Data’s system, the patient can check-out of the hospital and the GP can have the full view of care received in

hospital before the patient even arrives home. This initial agreement has the potential to demonstrate the vertical

integration of the software across many vertical industries, including Defence, Banking & Finance and Government.

The CEO of Wimmera Health, Mr Chris Scott commented,

"We have successfully trialed Cocoon Data's product, 'Secure Envelope's' in order to securely transfer our out-

patient records and found it to be very user friendly for GPs and their Practice Managers but also highly secure and

cost effective. The implementation of such a system is a major step forward in supporting GPs, in terms of the

quick and secure distribution of electronic patient health records and we look forward to supporting it regionally."

In commenting on this significant achievement for Cocoon Data, Trent Telford, CEO, said,

This is an unprecedented step forward in terms of a user-friendly, highly secure, cost effective solution that is

product agnostic for electronic health records.”

The Secure Envelopes technology is also close to receiving a highly coveted, globally recognised, Defence issued

security certification called 'Common Criteria' that is unprecedented globally for this type of software. The system

is also being used by one of Australia's 'Big Four' banks for a range of different applications where customer and

bank data security is a high priority.

Cocoon Data has listed with the Australian Small Scales Offering Board (ASSOB) to fund the further expansion of

the Company.
