Ezidebit and SportLogic announce inTennis software

Collaboration unveils first for the industry as tennis fever takes over Australia

The collaboration between electronic payment powerhouse Ezidebit and SportLogic, a market leader of sports

business management software, has resulted in the upgrade launch of the award-winning inTennis software, an

integrated direct debit solution for the tennis industry and the first of its kind for the sector.

Available now for businesses in Australia and New Zealand, inTennis incorporates direct debit functionality into

its management software, allowing tennis centre operators and coaches to collect fees via bank accounts and

credit cards without a merchant account.

Mark Chen, CEO of SportLogic, said partnering with Ezidebit and accessing the direct debit functionality

developed by the company was a coup, and provides inTennis with a benefit no other software providers can

equal.

“The direct debit functionality provided by Ezidebit was a deal breaker for us in a number of areas. Overall, the

inTennis software now means  setting up and managing one-off or recurrent direct debit payments has never

been easier and this is a crucial point for both tennis centres and tennis coaches, as chasing payments can be a

logistical and administrative nightmare, as well as time consuming,” said Chen.

“The set up information is entered once into inTennis and payments are collected automatically on the scheduled

dates. This system not only helps businesses to improve their cash flow and administrative costs, but it is also a

welcome and convenient payment method for their customers.

"We are thrilled to have been able to partner with Ezidebit and introduce such an exciting feature to our service.

It helps our customers to receive payments on-time and have fewer receivables outstanding.”

Ezidebit Chief Executive Officer Charlie Holland said integration had been an operational focus for some time,

with the launch of inTennis one of the first rollouts.

“In a tight economy, businesses need to be particularly vigilant about getting paid on time, and regularly, to keep

cash flowing.  By using Ezidebit functionality, inTennis removes the need for businesses or coaches to have to ask

for money from clients each session or periodically, said Holland.

“Not only is the Ezidebit functionality in inTennis a coup for the sector, but it works in favor of the customer as

well, in locking down payment dates and amounts, so they too can set and forget. It takes what can be a very

time-heavy administration function away from both company and client, freeing both for other tasks.”

“One of the leading reasons why many businesses in Australia fail is because of inadequate cash flow, not profit,

and in the majority of cases this is because customers don’t adhere to billing periods, be they on delivery, seven

days, 30, 60 or longer. A critical mass of outstanding payments can be the closure calling card for businesses of all

shapes and sizes.

“By facilitating electronic payments through inTennis, this negates such a threat and allows the tennis centers or

coaches to focus on what they do best – running their business, teaching tennis and developing their client base

and business offer.”

I have only recently purchased the inTennis software (Oct 08) and have used it for the first time in generating

invoices, and planning classes. Once the information is in the database, then it's very simple that is both

extremely quick and easy to do. This process will be saving me a lot of valuable time in the future and to have

the lessons plans, client contact details, invoicing and payments systems all in one program is the reason why I

purchased the inTennis software.  It’s a great program and I know that Mark is adding to it constantly to

improve it (with SMS capabilities now available). If you are spending way too much time with your planning and

invoicing than I recommend this program to you.

inTennis is a fantastic solution to our management needs. We have tried many programs from around the glob

but most were either too complicated or too simple, in other words they didn't cater specifically to Australian

tennis centre needs. inTennis fills that gap.

inTennis is a fantastic all round package for the coach or centre owner alike. It has been able to manage all of

my squads with ease, give me all the information at the touch of a button – and best of all give me less time in

the office, and more time on the court coaching. There are other solutions out there, but none of those have

come close to inTennis.

The inTennis program is a fantastic off court tool for the mobile tennis coach like myself. I coach at 5 locations

across Melbourne and it is so very simple to use. It covers all facets of a tennis coach from court bookings and

invoicing to lesson attendance and much more. Mark's help in the set up was nothing short of professional and

it is his ongoing assistance and regular upgrades of the program which makes this program so fantastic.

we were looking for. The management modules they provide make the most efficient and user friendly

interface we found inside or outside the US. It has taken our operation to another efficiency level and we

confidently recommend this software and other products from SportLogic to anyone who is serious about

operating above the competition. inTennis organizes internal operations while giving directors the time to

focus on Center Development and planning. Customer service reps and help staff matched the quality of their

product and provided us with everything we needed. Special thanks to Mark Chen for all his efforts.
