GSX Groupware Solutions Joins the Microsoft System Center Alliance and Releases a Management
Pack for SCOM
BERLIN, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --
GSX Groupware Solutions today announced that it has joined the Microsoft System Center Alliance and is
releasing a new management pack, called GSX Monitor Management Pack for SCOM, to facilitate the
seamless integration of its GSX Monitor solution for Domino, Exchange and BlackBerry Enterprise servers
with Microsoft System Center Operation Manager 2007.
"GSX is a comprehensive monitoring solution for Lotus Notes/Domino, which coupled with the Enterprise
Management capabilities of System Center Operations Manager, gives our customers a complete solution,"
said Shamus Kelly, CEO of Portal Partnership.
Collaboration servers are mission-critical for all companies, regardless of their size and physical locations.
GSX Groupware Solutions serves the community of Lotus Notes, Blackberry Enterprise Server and Microsoft
Exchange administrators who are looking for application-specific monitoring tools to ensure that they
effectively deliver and report on services that meet and exceed agreed levels defined with end-users as well
as underlying system performance indicators.
"A significant and increasing number of existing GSX clients and prospects have been requesting a solution
to better integrate GSX Monitor into the Microsoft System Center Operations Manager to fully leverage these
two powerful and complementary systems," declared Antoine Leboyer, CEO of GSX Groupware Solutions.
Companies looking to improve their monitoring capabilities can now integrate GSX Monitor with Microsoft
System Center Operation Manager 2007 and their underlying collaboration platforms, such as Domino,
Exchange or BlackBerry Enterprise Servers.
"GSX and its System Center-based monitoring solution helps deliver end-to-end service management for
applications like Lotus Notes, Exchange or Blackberry Enterprise, providing customers greater control and
insight into the health and performance of IT infrastructure and applications," said JD Marymee, director of
strategic alliances for Management and Services Division, Microsoft Corp. "We're pleased to welcome GSX
Groupware Solutions to the System Center Alliance, which helps create and grow a strong partner ecosystem
around System Center products."
Management pack and GSX Monitor highlights:
-- The GSX Monitor Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager
integrates with the GSX Monitor solution that lets administrators
pro-actively monitor their Exchange, Domino, Sametime and/or BlackBerry
Enterprise servers' environments without installing any agents on their
production servers and by using user simulation to provide real-time
servers status. Alerts identified by GSX Monitor are then fully
integrated into the System Center Operations Manager dashboard thanks
to the GSX management pack released today
-- It also leverages GSX Analyzer, a web based executive dashboard that is
a statistical and reporting tool that lets administrators and their
management create trends, reports and graphs on the health status of
their collaboration platforms
