Information About Graduate Management Education
The Graduate Management Admission Council(R) (GMAC(R)) has launched a new
online News Center to provide journalists, business school professionals, and
the general public with a multi-platform array of resources and information
about graduate management education. GMAC is the owner of the Graduate
Management Admission Test(R) (GMAT(R)).
The GMAC News Center, located on gmac.com, offers insight into the role
MBAs play in the global economy through a mix of podcasts, videos, articles,
and other features.
The globally recognized GMAT exam -- used by thousands of MBA and other
management education programs around the world in the admissions process --
is a key source of multimedia programming on the News Center. Recent podcasts
available on the site explore the rising prominence of Asian and European
business schools and the satisfaction of MBA alumni with their business
school experiences.
The News Center (gmac.com/newscenter) offers concise, timely summaries of
key findings from GMAC's annual international surveys of graduating MBAs,
employers, business school alumni and other groups. The website also includes
GMAC press releases, a photo gallery, and other resources designed to provide
quick access to facts and figures about the management education industry.
Visitors may sign up to receive press releases by email or RSS feed,
subscribe to podcasts through iTunes, and share material on the site through
various social networking sites, such as Facebook and MySpace.
Based in McLean, Virginia, GMAC (www.gmac.com) is a non-profit education
association of leading graduate business schools worldwide. GMAC administers
the GMAT exam, which is used by some 4,600 graduate business programs around
the world and remains the first and only global, standardized test
specifically designed for graduate business and management programs. More
