Panviva appoints new Sales Director
Panviva, a global leader in Business Process Guidance software, has today announced that Richard
Marr has been appointed Sales Director for its Australian and New Zealand operations.
Based in Sydney, Mr Marr joins Panviva from IBM where was most recently a Software Sales
Leader responsible for enablement and performance of product sales in IBMs Optim Data
Management Portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this, he was Country Manager
with Princeton Softech, which was acquired by IBM in 2007.
Panvivas VP Global Sales, Stephen Pappas, welcomed Mr Marr as a strong addition to the Panviva
team. Richard is a seasoned and proven enterprise software sales professional who has dealt with
major corporations, many important to Panviva.
He brings to Panviva a depth and breadth of experience in large-scale enterprise software sales
that will be vital to enabling the rapid growth we are already experiencing for our products and
services in the Australasia region. I am excited by the opportunity we are faced with despite a tough
economic climate, as more and more organisations recognise the benefits a Business Process
Guidance solution can offer them in terms of increased operational efficiency through consistent

Richard Marr will be focused on building the Australian and New Zealand business, with a focus on
improving business processes in large enterprises through providing employees with better real-time
support and process guidance when they need it.
Founder and Director, Ted Gannan has been appointed Senior Vice President Vertical Markets. This
role will be to consolidate and expand the use of SupportPoint in Panvivas target industries. Gannan
will continue to report to Panvivas Boston-based CEO David Frenkel and will work closely with the
global sales team.
