Australia's first commercially available mobile phone diabetes

Diabetes Australia will join Telstra tomorrow for the announcement of a new Australian first commercially
available online and mobile diabetes management service technology.

Diabetes currently affects an estimated 1.5 million Australians, and this number is growing by 10 per cent
every year.

This new system will assist people with diabetes record and monitor their blood glucose levels more
frequently, keep more accurate records, and better manage their diabetes by making improved diet and
lifestyle decisions.

There will be demonstrations of the technology and interview opportunities.
