Inventec Selects Red Bend's MSM Solutions

Red Bend Software, the market leader in Mobile Software Management (MSM,
leading manufacturer of smart handheld products based in Taiwan, has licensed Red
Bend's vRapid Mobile(R) software for firmware over-the-air (FOTA,
Mobile(TM) software for device management (DM,
smartphones using the Qualcomm Brew platform and Windows Mobile platform. The
Inventec OKWAP branded mobile phone models -- W316C and WG209 -- enabled by Red
Bend's MSM solutions are currently available in the China market.
This year, 3G services have come to China, bringing with it a wave of feature-
rich mobile phones. China's major mobile operators have required FOTA and DM in new
handsets in order to ensure the devices can be managed cost-effectively over the air.
